South Beach Behind The Build – August 2026 Construction Update

Watch as Gabriel from A Construct walks through the latest update onsite.

Construction at South Beach Surfers Paradise has reached a significant new phase, with major structural in-ground works now complete and the project beginning its rise above the Gold Coast.

The installation of the first tower crane and construction of both lift cores mark an exciting milestone onsite, bringing South Beach another step closer to life.

Beneath the surface, the lift core foundations extend approximately 4.5 metres below ground. More than 500 cubic metres of concrete has been poured, 90 tonnes of reinforcement installed and the project’s in-ground stormwater infrastructure completed.

With this important groundwork in place, construction is progressing above ground as South Beach’s two 37-level towers begin to take shape within the Surfers Paradise skyline.

The South Beach Display Gallery is located at 15 Albert Avenue, Broadbeach. Visit during the advertised walk-in hours or contact Kyle Robertson to arrange a private appointment.
